Cardell Phillips started Sounder Communications to promote entrepreneurs.

He began his writing career as a stringer for a community newspaper. Since then he's worked as a public relations and magazine writer.

His education includes a degree in marketing communications and certificates in website design and Internet marketing.

Phillips has written about a variety of subjects, but his favorite subject is the entrepreneurial spirit. "Entrepreneurs are out there on the edge," he says, "making things happen."
